Download the WoW Client

You need the WoW 3.3.5a client (Wrath of the Lich King). Follow the steps below to connect to our server.

Step 1: Download the Client

Download the pre-configured WoW 3.3.5a client below. The file is approximately 7GB zipped. Extract it anywhere on your computer.

Step 2: Configure and Connect

Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer (e.g. C:\WoW). Do not extract to Program Files.
Open the extracted folder and find the file Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf (or Data\enGB\realmlist.wtf).
Open realmlist.wtf in Notepad and replace the contents with:
set realmlist wow.coregamehosting.com
Save the file and close Notepad.
Run Wow.exe from the extracted folder (NOT the launcher/Battle.net app).
Log in with your registered username and password. Select the realm and create your character.

Troubleshooting

If you have connection issues:

  • Can't connect to realm list — Check that your realmlist.wtf contains exactly set realmlist wow.coregamehosting.com
  • Wrong password error — Passwords are case-sensitive. Re-enter carefully or reset at register page.
  • Game crashes on launch — Run as administrator. Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date.
